ACM-W Europe

ACM-W Europe (ACM-WE) is a standing committee of ACM Europe and will work to fulfill the ACM-W mission in Europe. The ACM-WE vision is a transformed European professional and scholarly landscape where women are supported and inspired to pursue their dreams and ambitions to find fulfillment in the computing field.

ACM-WE Activities:

  • Advocate diversity in computing
  • Promote visibility of women in computing
  • Raise awareness of the importance of women being in the computing profession and as ACM Members
  • Address the challenges faced by women in computing
  • Increase participation of women in leadership positions of ACM
  • Raise awareness of career options in computing
  • Collaborate with similar organizations in Europe
  • Share resources, ideas and experiences with the community
