ACM invites students to the 3rd ACM Europe Summer School on Data Science to be held in Athens (Greece) on 11–17 July 2019.
Students will have the opportunity to attend keynote lectures and multi-lecture courses by distinguished academics and researchers on several forms of data analytics and machine learning, including the interplay between advanced data processing and machine learning, visual analytics, social analytics and recommendation systems, medical analytics, spatiotemporal analytics, and ethics of data science.
The School is addressed to graduate (MSc and PhD) students, postdocs, young faculty, and other academic and industrial researchers interested in the diverse field of Data Science. Advanced undergraduate students with the appropriate background will be considered as well.
Student fees are 395€, covering part of the tuition costs. The remaining costs (including accommodation, food and beverages during lectures, and some social events) are covered by ACM and other sponsors.
An interesting and stimulating social program will take advantage of the historical and cultural identity of Athens and complement the technical program of the School.
