ACM Europe Council Education Committee
The ACM Europe Education Committee seeks to advance the state of informatics education at all levels within Europe, maintaining a focus on high quality education, diversity, and the capacity of the European workforce.
The ACM Europe Education Committee works with other education parties within Europe and with the ACM Education Board in terms of identifying European representatives to serve on curriculum and other relevant education initiatives.
The ACM Europe Education Committee is responsible for supporting and interacting with ITiCSE—the European Education Conference sponsored by SIGCSE—in collaboration with the ACM Europe Council and Informatics Europe.
The Committee is also responsible for interacting with the I4All Coalition an initiative—launched by the ACM Europe Council, Informatics Europe, and the Council of European Professional Informatics Societies (CEPIS)—whose main purpose is to give due recognition to informatics as an essential foundational discipline for education in the 21st century.
